About.

What the meeting was about...

Sexual selection:
do we need to keep testing the alternatives?

This was a two-day ASAB meeting to explore the current status of sexual selection, in terms of both theory and experiment.

Thirty years have passed since Bradbury and Andersson's classic edited book, but sexual selection remains alive to alternative perspectives, theoretical challenges and novel empirical data.

Various speakers, from London itself to New Zealand, brought new theoretical and empirical insights into the processes and evolutionary outcomes of sexual selection.

Nina Wedell and David Shuker would like to say a big thank you to all the speakers and delegates who made the meeting such a great success - thank you!
